Tasmania: Autumn trip

This is a long overdue post of my trip to Tasmania which happened in April this year. This itinerary leaves so much more to do on a second trip, but as a first timer with limited time, we tried to see as much of this island’s natural beauty as possible.

Tasmania is an island off the south coast of Australia, separated from the mainland by Bass Strait, and is the smallest state in the country. It is among the most mountainous regions in the world and also enjoys one of the cleanest air and purest water in the planet. Keep on reading! 😀

Skydive Australia – Melbourne

There are actually a few things in life that frightens me. Well, if you filter out legged insects from the equation… and err anything unfamiliar… and scary. Ok. Perhaps, there’s more than a few. But heights, I believe, is one of my biggest fears. Plus, I always thought I have this motion sickness (that really doesn’t exist).

Yet I kind of like scaring myself sometimes. Haha! I’ve wanted to go skydiving for so long now so when the opportunity came up, I wasted no chance! Keep on reading! 😀

A Day in Sydney

Oh hello Sydney! I didn’t think I’d see you again so soon after my Winter trip here two years ago. There’s just something bleak and sad about winter and that greatly influenced my first impressions of the city. During that time, the sun rises late in the morning, it gets dark at 4 pm, and shops are closed by 6 pm! So I was back in bed very early, and since I was alone, there wasn’t really a lot of things to do! Yes, that is a tropical country girl speaking, haha!

Since my friend insisted to see Sydney in our supposed 10-day Melbourne and Tasmania trip, we managed to do a one-day trip just for her to soak in the highlights of the city.

So if you only have 24 hours, what should you do? Keep on reading! 😀
